Hi, we’re Clutch and welcome to our rental site.
We exist to help your productions succeed – especially last minute gear requests. Our team consists of experienced filmmakers that can help make recommendations and understands how time sensitive productions are.
Our headquarters is based in Providence, RI. We offer same day delivery for local rentals and worldwide shipping on most equipment.

Business Hours
Reserving Rentals
- An approved account application must be on file before any gear can be reserved
- All quotes and orders are tentative until confirmed
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings must be made before 2pm the day before the first day of rental, or day before ship date to avoid rental charges
- Any non-functional or defective gear must be reported to Clutch when noticed, Clutch will make their best efforts to make sure your production is as unimpacted as possible. Please email hello@clutchgearrentals.com or call 844.401.4327
- Customer shall at its expense, and at all times during the rental, maintain in full force and effect insurance covering all equipment and/or vehicles rented. All Equipment shall be insured for the full replacement cost without deduction for depreciation. Information on insurance requirements are located in the Rental Terms and Conditions. Pricing
- All prices, unless otherwise stated, are daily rates. Every seven days of the rental period will be billed at the rate of three days
- All prices are subject to change without notice
- Long term rentals are available and discounted on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at hello@clutchgearrentals.com and we can negotiate based on the length and terms of your project
Check out and Check in
- Rental gear is available for pickup at 9 am on the first day of the rental period
- Special arrangements can be made for early pickup or pickup outside of business hours
- Gear must be returned to Clutch HQ or shipped via FedEx by 3pm on the last day of the rental period
- Late rentals may be subject to additional charges should we incur a loss of rental revenue
Shipping
- Gear is always available for pickup from Clutch HQ, we deliver gear within a four hour driving radius from Providence, RI
- Shipping for rental gear is available on a per-job basis; all freight/shipment costs are paid for by the customer, including any and all subrental items
- The customer is responsible for confirming insurance coverage and any declared value for any and all freight
